Foraging with Friends

Your data stays on your device. We don't collect it, sell it, or share it. That's it.
Location Data: When you log a find, the app records the GPS coordinates of that location. This happens only when you explicitly tap "Log Find" and requires your permission.
Your Foraging Journal: All your finds, notes, and profile information are stored locally on your device.
All your foraging data is stored locally on your device using your phone's built-in storage. If you delete the app, your data is deleted with it. We recommend using the Export feature to back up your journal periodically.
Maps: The app uses Apple Maps (on iOS) to display your foraging locations. Your map interactions are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
We plan to add optional social features in the future (sharing finds with friends, community features). These will always be opt-in, and we'll update this policy before launching any feature that changes how your data is handled. You'll always be in control of what you share.
Foraging with Friends does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The app can be used by foragers of all ages since no personal information is collected or transmitted.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we'll provide notice within the app.
